ABOUT US

Since our founding in 2014, Nebraska Running Club has served as a recognized student organization through the UNL Campus Recreation. We are the official organization for club running at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, and we are a member club of the National Intercollegiate Running Association (NIRCA).

As a team, we compete in both local and NIRCA hosted events in Cross Country, Road Racing, and Track & Field. We also encourage runners to join who do not plan on competing, but want to run for fun and connect with other runners on campus. Each practice we split up into groups with different abilities and goals, so do not fear about feeling out of place and come check us out!

We offer four practices a week that begin at the Campus Recreation lobby, and members can attend as many practices as they wish. At least one officer will be present to display a sign, check in members, and determine the route for that day. Throughout the school year, we provide opportunities to socialize through organizing volunteer events, games such as Ultimate Frisbee, and destination runs.

To stay up-to-date with Nebraska Running Club, make sure to join our Facebook group "UNL Running Club" and follow us on Twitter (@unlrunningclub).
